The client approached us with a pressing need to redesign their outdated website. The existing site, built on an antiquated code base compatible only with PHP 5.4, was not only lagging in security but also unsupported by most modern hosting providers. Moreover, Google’s Page Insights highlighted significant speed and page weight issues that were hindering the site’s performance.

Recognising these challenges, we collaborated closely with the client and decided that a fresh start with a greenfield development was the best path forward. This new development would ensure the latest security measures and improved performance.

Given the non-profit nature of the organisation, we incorporated this project into our 5th Peak Web pro-bono initiative. Our objective was to create a lightweight, visually appealing brochure website that featured recent images and content aligned with contemporary global issues. This approach would ensure the site remained relevant and engaging for its audience.

Together, we embarked on this journey, transforming the client’s vision into a modern, secure, and efficient digital presence that truly reflects their mission and values.

I have worked with Ashley since June 2013 through a recommendation. He took my vision and came back with designs beyond my expectations!

Ashley is a thoroughly decent caring person and incredibly conscientious and it’s a privilege to work with and now build a friendship too. In terms of ethics, work output and first class communications he is up there with the best.
